Senior Vice President

Position: SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Position Description:
The Center for Leadership Innovation (TCLI) is seeking a Senior Vice President to join our team. This position reports to the President/CEO. Minorities and women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Develop and secure funding to initiate and/or sustain major new programs that are both innovative and strategic for TCLI in the pursuit of its mission and business goals;
• Initiate relationships and serve as point person with key stakeholders;
• Direct the management and delivery of programs as assigned;
• Serve as a senior facilitator/trainer/team member in TCLI programs as assigned;
• Stay current with industry trends and cutting edge perspectives on key issues and opportunities, as well as state-of-the-art approaches to leadership development and capacity building;
• As a leader in the social sector, represent TCLI to external audiences and other organizations;
• Inspire TCLI staff and stakeholders to stay focused on the organization’s mission;
• Serve as a member of the Management Team.

• Demonstrated performance in achieving the types of results described above;
• Strong belief in, and ability to present the mission, core values and operating principles presented on this website
• Strong history of working successfully with diverse leaders of organizations/communities, and private and public sector institutions;
• Demonstrated performance in working successfully in multicultural teams and organizations;
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• Highly solution oriented with a consistently positive response to problems and challenges in organizations, communities and society. 

• Personally and professionally oriented to developing and piloting innovative approaches to helping leaders to solve tough social issues in our society;
• Experienced and comfortable with technology and social media as a means to connecting people and promoting an organization/movement.
• Experience delivering interactive training sessions at workshops and conferences.
