“One of the TCLI trainers struck a chord with me when he said ‘You are not in a leadership role so much to solve problems on your own, as you are to move people toward solving problems themselves.’ I think back to that and it’s a frequent reminder to look at how I’m leading. Am I giving people the freedom and support they need to be creative problem solvers? That voice is now always in the back of my mind as I interact with others.”
